To be exact there are 10 days to go before “isulong seoph” competation end. Obviously not all entries will win but to this point we can’t still predict who is the lucky one, who will be the best seoer in the Philippines until we come to end. There are only 3 webmaster that will get a prize and the rest will be part of the history of this first seo contest.
And my question now is what will happen to those sites or domain intentionally registered and created for this event purpose only. There are so many isulong seoph domain registered and subdomains created for this purpose only. Many of the participants may be thinking to give up those sites after september 29 and other is thinking what should they do with their domains.
Remember there is always life after this truce. You only need to be resourceful maximized your site capablities. And apply what you learned during the competation. I know most of us who participate the first seo contest here in the philippines learn a lot. And we deserve to congratulate our self because with this event we fource our self to open our mind and to bigger opportunity not only 40,000 pesos but maybe bigger.
The reason why I use a 2 level url as my entry is that it’s more challenging for me than using a top domain. At the very begining of the competation I know that my entry is far far away to all those who are using top domain and subdomain but through this disadvantage I was force to learn lot about seo. And I may not be in the first page of the isulong seoph keyword result at google philippines but still I am in top 20 which is very good result for a 2 level url.
I am now convince that through this experience, I can now compete to big dogs out there in terms of positioning my site for specific keyword or phrase.

- Apply your site for adsense to earn from your ads space
- Join affiliate programs and sell them at your site
- Tweak it and you may offer seo service
- Slowly divert the topic of your site to seo or filipino related content
- Continue building link popularity and target atleast PR 6 or higher then sell text link

We are now approaching the last month of the filipino seoer’s and almost 2 months now I guess that the sites on the first page are competing each other. This entry isulong seoph is still on the second page of google search result. And keep flactuating sometime drop to 3rd page.
One of the main reason why it can’t move to higher position is that my entry use deeper url than those who rank 1-10 in the competation.
For example:
www.isulongseoph.org - this entry use a top domain for the contest entry
www.isulongseophil.com/ - rank number 2 and same use top domain with the main keyword isulong seoph
www.pinoynets.com/isulong-seoph/ - And this entry rank number 3 still my entry is deeper than this one.
But what makes me wonder is that the number 1 site isulongseophp.org don’t even have a single back link if you type link:isulongseoph.org as seen here

Well to be honest and I believe each and every one who join this competation hoping to win. And I am one of them. As I said from my previous post, not only the money but the glory the pride to become the number 1 filipino seoers. But ofcourse I like the price lol, that is big money here in the philippines I can buy my laptop then if I will win the contest :).
Right now my entry http://www.tips1001.com/category/isulong-seoph/ is rank number 27 well not so far from number 1. If the one who rank number 633,000 is still hoping to win, me to believe that I still have a chance to move to number 1 on the end of the competation.
Just a cuation to all participants, I am not discouraging anyone or this is not an strategy. Don’t to much of your time to this contest do it only on your spare time. Because if you make this seriously , what if the organizer terminate the contest before the end date as they stated on their terms and condition? There are lot of posible thing to happened before the end of this contest.

No doubt the organizer of this competation are very happy with the result of the competation and I would like to congratulate them to.

I guess the google update have been completed for this update. I am seeing now isulongseoph.org rank number 1 for the keyword isulong seoph. And the top 10 site are almost not moving. Rank number 11 down are still not stable.
As this site rank number 27 today but yesterday rank number 21, and the other day rank number 32. But the competation is not yet over there are still 2 months to work hard for the number 1 position to maintain his spot or else those site next to him will remove him from the first spot of the keyword isulong seoph

While the internet age is increasing and search engine competation is now part of our life as webmasters (at least I am webmaster of my site), it is imposible for aspiring web marketer or webmaster to ignore the importance of knowing the basic of seo. Yes I even discuss from my site http://www.tips1001.com the diffirent ways how to market your site online but still the importance of search engine is a must and can’t be ignore.
For the past years the algorithm of search engines become more and more complicated, even SEO people sometimes puzzled because in overnight it change. But believe me or not, but seo gurus will agree with me this one, there is part of the seo algorithm that does not change. What is it? The basic SEO, where seos guru always tell that content is reach and that is the seo algo that never change.
So what is basic seo? How can we apply this to our isulong seoph campaign to rank number 1 at google? Actually I am doing it right now the basic seo in this article :). Okey here are some of my basic tips.
1. Include your main keyword to your site title e.g. isulong seoph
2. At least mentioned your keyword to the first sentence of your page as you see in this article isulong seoph is mention at the first sentence.

Isulong seoph contest update
Wow the contest really harder and harder, on the first day I join this contest there are only 85,000 search result for the keyword isulong seoph at google.com.ph. But today I was shock in just 3 days the number of pages competing for the keyword isulong seoph is now 562,000 I was shock in just 3 days since I join the competing pages grew fast.
And there are less than 3 months to go, how I imagine the number of pages will competing on this keyword till the end of the contest period. I bet isulong seoph will become one of the most search keyword on the net for the comming months until the end of the competation.
In my side, well until today no good news my page entry for this “isulong seoph” keyword seo competation still not crawled….

Isulong seoph updates
The total number of pages competing for the keyword isulong seoph growing very fast and start feeling that the competation is becoming harder and harder.
The day I signup for this competation the total pages competing for isulong seoph is 82,000, and yesterday it jumps to 122,000 and now 157,000 and the top and the top 10 search result seems strong.
The puzzle now is that most of them don’t even have single back link, if back link is important in google how come this site rank well while the other competing site at lower pages have higher link popularity. The only thing I see special with most of the top 10 site is that they use isulong seoph in their domains or folders.
But to early to say that this sites will stay on their ranks. As of now my entry page does not yet crawl by google 
not so good news. I am now mile away from others, but still I will try to move fast and rand atleast at page 1 for the keyword isulong seoph in 1 month.
